THUNK. is a studio where people can experience the process of creating Foley, the art of sound in cinema. The rain pouring down onto a couple in movie is actually an artist cooking bacon into a microphone. Weird objects like this are used to record each sound that goes into the final cut. Patrons get to see how Foley works, learn the history, the process, and then dub over the sound of their favorite films. Afterwards, they get to sit down and watch the recorded clips and customize a package for their very own Foley reel!
